Ever since he won a national championship as a walk-on and the last player off the bench for the Michigan State Spartans, Mat Ishbia has understood that putting the team ahead of any single individual is the formula for success.
He’s applied that same winning approach to his business pursuits and, most recently, his ownership of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury.
